Nothing will improve anytime soon in Georgia - Georgian Nightmare is thereality!

Nothing will improve in Georgia while Saakashvili and his horde are calling the shots

გუშინ სტომატოლოგიურ კლინიკაში  ტელევიზიით RTV-ს  არხს მოვკარი თვალი, გადაცემა ივანიშვილს ეძღვნებოდა, თანამშრომემლთა პერსონალიც და პაციენტებიც დიდი ინტერესით შესცქეროდით ეკრანს.

ამას წინად საინტერესო ფაქტი ამღმოვაჩინე, ივანიშვილს გაცილებით მეტი  მომხრე ჰყავს ფეისბუქზე, ვიდრე სააკაშვილს.

აი ერთი საინტერესო აზრი, რომელიც ჩემი თანამშრომლისგან გავიგე, მან თქვა: ,,ვერ ვიტან სააკაშვილის ყურებას, თუნმცა მომწონს მისი მოსმენა, რადგან როცა ის საუბრობს, გრძობ, რომ იგი შენი პრეზიდენტია,  რასაც ვერ გრძნობ ივანიშვილის მიმართ”. არამგონია, ივანიშვილი მასში  დიდ ნდობას იწვევდეს, თუმცა აქ ხომ ხალხი მიჩვეული იმას, რომ ყველას განსხვავებული აზრი აქვს, ამიტომ შესაძლებელია, მისი ასეთი დამოკიდებულება  ბუნებრივიც იყოს.

როგორც ბიზნესმენმა დასავლეთიდან, ერთი რამ ნამდივლად ვიცი, რომ საკმაოდ სახიფათოა გამოხატო დადებითი დამოკიდებულება ქართული ოცნების მიმართ, რაც დაახლოებით იგივეს ნიშნავს, რომ ჩახვიდე შუა კახეთში და ისაუბრო ვირების უფლების დაცვაზე;  სახიფათოა, რადგან დიდი ალბათობაა იმისა, რომ მთავრობა მიზანში ამოგიგებს... თუმცა ისიც უნდა ვაღიაროთ,  რომ კონფლიქტის მშვიდობიანად გადაწყვეტის გზები არ არსებობს.

თუ სააკაშვილი მაინც მიაღწევს გამარჯვებას თავისი ბინძური ,,ტაქტიკის”” გამოყენებით, საქართველოს არც თუ ისე კარგი დღეები დაუდგება, რასაც  დიდი გულისტკივილით ვამბობ და სულმოთქმელად ველოდები იმ მომენტს, როცა ქართველები შვებით იტყვიან: ,,დამთავრდა”! მომენტს, როცა ქართველი ხალხი თავისუფლად იმოძრავებს აფხაზეთისა და სამხრეთ ოსეთის ტერიტორიაზე. ამის მიღწევა შესაძლებელია მხოლოდ თავისუფალი ვაჭრობის განვითარების გზით, რასაც არ უწერია გახორციელება, მანამ სააკაშვილი და მისი ბანდა ქვეყნის სათავეშია.

BTW, I was in the dentist yesterday, watching RTV on the TV. It was all about Ivanishvili - and everyone was sitting glued to the TV.

I notice he now has more facebook followers than Saakashvili, and more people are talking about him.

Interesting comment from a girl I know through work - she said she hates watching Saakashvili but loves listening to him, as when he talks you know that he is YOUR president. She doesn't get the same from Ivanishvili. I don't think she fully trusts him - but everyone here is accustomed to everyone having other motives so, perhaps, that's natural.

As a Western businessman the only thing I know for sure is that it's as dangerous to show any kind of support for the Georgian Dream Movement here as it would be to walk into a bar in Ireland and start arguing about religion or politics, dangerous in another way because you know that the authorities will target you for all kinds of audits and so on. But I also know that there will be no other way to a peaceful resolution of the conflicts.

If Saakashvili manages to pull off a victory by using all of these self-evidently dirty tactics, then it will be a bad day for Georgia, and I will feel terribly sad for the Georgian people who will never see the day come when they can say "it's over", when people will mill back and forth into Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Only by trade will those barriers come down, and those between Georgia and Russia too, but this will never happen while Saakashvili and his horde are calling the shots.
